In this past February my dog Missy passed away. I miss her so much. I already drew a drawing of her in color pencil when she was alive. When I stand back it seems like her picture is soulful. Even with that picture I still was missing her. After painting to dogs for a customer of mine I decided to do a painting this time of my Missy. It was so much fun. It helps me keep her memory alive while I’m painting her. I really love the outcome of it. I’m glad I have more than one portrait of her because she always looked different to me in different ways she was positioned. I love standing back and looking at her painting because anywhere I stand it looks like her eyes are following me. Here is my latest art portrait of her that I painted.
